Freshman Applicants

The deadline for your application, personal essay, and a copy of the Records Release Form to arrive to us for the first round of acceptances is December 1st. All of the supporting materials; transcripts, two teacher recommendations, and personal recommendation must be complete by December 15th in order to be reviewed for the first round. This extra 15 days allows for your school, teachers, and personal reference to send in transcripts and recommendations, just in case your request to them happened on December 1st as well. Your personal interview, medical/immunization records, and STS Placement Exam scores may be completed later as long as the above information is on file by the December 15th date. It is also important to remember that a strong work ethic and having no serious behavior or disciplinary issues will be to your benefit toward your acceptance.

Completed application files meeting the December deadline will likely be reviewed over the Christmas break. You will be notified of our decision by late January. If you are offered acceptance in this first round, you will have until February 15th, or fifteen days after date of acceptance letter, to submit your non-refundable commitment deposit of 10% of our current tuition ($400.00 for established families of Brady) to secure your place in the student body. Any deposits received after the deadline date will be accepted on a space available basis.

Applications received after December 1st, or application files that are not yet complete by December 15th will be considered on a space available basis. These completed application files will be reviewed after February 15th and offers of acceptances will be made on a rolling, space available basis, depending on the commitment response from the first round.

In order to have the best opportunity of securing a place as one of our newest members into the Bishop Brady High School community, it is in your best interest to have your application in to us by the December 1st deadline, and all other components to complete your file in to us by December 15th. It is important to realize that space in each class is limited. Limited space means that some qualified applicants may not be accepted as there are many factors considered when balancing the overall qualities of the student body. An admissions committee will review completed files and make the final decision on acceptance, to waitlist, or to deny admission. The order of waitlisted students will not be revealed in order to insure the privacy of other applicants.

Transfer Students

Students wishing to transfer to Bishop Brady as a sophomore, junior, or senior will be considered on a rolling, space-available basis. Therefore, it is important that you complete your application file at your earliest convenience. We review completed application files in the order they are received.
