Bishop Brady High School provides an International Educational Program for foreign student from various countries to attend Bishop Brady and to live with local host families.   International students will only be accepted to attend Bishop Brady at the start of the school year.  No second semester acceptances will be considered.

The Bishop Brady International Program will run from August 15th to June 15th.  The end date will be adjusted to accommodate snow days, if necessary.  International students are responsible for arriving at school by August 15th and staying at school until all exams, , retreats, student activities and/or extracurricular commitments have been completed.  It is the International students's responsibility to change vacation plans and plane reservations to comply with this requirement.

All International students considered for acceptance to Bishop Brady must be sponsored by a placement agency approved by the school with an accessible representative in the U.S.  Students are expected to be represented by such an agency for the duration of the student's enrollment at Bishop Brady.  All communication with the host family and with the school, and the payment of all bills to the school will be done through the agent.

The tuition for an International Student for the 2008-2009 academic year is $12,750.00.  This includes a a $4,000.00 fee for an additional required ESL course which has been chosen according to the student's needs.  The student is responsible for purchasing their own dress code clothing and textbooks.  The approximate cost for these items is $750.00.  Other incidental fees that are to be paid by the student's family are the $45.00 application fee and $100.00 processing fee for the I-20.  Students are also responsible for his/her own clothes and toiletries, any large dollar items such as a computer, athletic equipment, travel expenses, fees for music, dance or other lessons, and participation in athletic activities where there is an additional fee.  All Agency fees will be handled by the agent.

The student's academic progress must reflect solid effort by the student.  Students in the Bishop Brady International Educational Program are responsible for fulfilling all the academic and other requirements, as stated in the Bishop Brady Student Handbook, to receive a Bishop Brady diploma.
