Bishop Brady High School 2008-2009 Tuition

By selecting Bishop Brady you, as a parent, have chosen to provide your child with a challenging college-preparatory education within a Christian atmosphere of support, order and discipline as stated in our Mission Statement.

The tuition at BBHS for the next school year is $8,000, and as our primary source of income, tuition will cover 92% of the school's operating budget.  As a parochial school, however, Bishop Brady faces some huge challenges, trying to keep pace with other public and private schools' salary increases, benefits and operating expenses while still being concerned about affordability issues.  As such, Bishop Brady depends on voluntary support.  How can you help?

  • Families who are blessed with the ability to pay a higher tuition can opt to do so by selecting  Actual Cost of Tuition on the their Enrollment Contract.  The additional monies over and above the $8,000 tuition will be considered a charitable contribution, which is tax deductible.
  • Brady families can also help us meet our annual Bishop Brady Fund goal of $186,000.   We rely on the generosity of families, alumni and friends to supplement our tuition income to meet our operational needs and to offer financial aid to those in need.
  • Parents can participate and encourage others to participate in our other fundraising programs such as the auction, golf tournament, Thanksgiving run and raffles, as well as attend student events, plays, and athletic events.

The school's success and growth depends on you.  Because we believe that parents are the primary educators of their children, we work to foster a partnership between school and family, recognizing that the success of our community requires a mutual commitment.

Bishop Brady High School challenges our students to live the Gospel values, to recognize the dignity of each being, to develop a strong sense of social consciousness and to accept responsibility for themselves in the world of the 21st century.  By supporting Bishop Brady you help us to carry this mission forward and to improve the lives and futures of our children.

Annual STS High School Placement Exam Scholarship Award
Every year, four $1,000.00 scholarships are awarded to the top four scorers on the STS High School Placement Exam from the November exam; two boys and two girls. This academic scholarship is credited toward the freshmen's tuition, should the applicant be offered acceptance and enrolls at Bishop Brady High School.

New Student Referral Incentive Program for Current Families
We are now offering a referral incentive program for our current families.  For every brand new student that is referred to Bishop Brady who applies, is accepted, and actually enrolls, the current family will receive a $200.00 credit toward their own child's tuition. (Any family referring a new student after the start of the school, but prior to the second semester will receive 50% of the incentive award.)   We're always mindful about the cost of tuition for our families and, therefore, have developed the referral program.

In order to qualify for the incentive program, the new student/family referred has to be a brand new name not yet in the Admissions database.  The referring family will be notified if the referral qualifies for the program.  Completed New Student Referral Incentive Program forms should be sent to the attention of Lonna Abbott, Office of Admissions and Enrollment.  A signed New Student Referral Incentive Program form must be on file and must indicate a name match on the new student's Admissions Application.
