Album I, Study Drawings by Seniors, contains a variey of images that the students produced. Studying by drawing or copying is an old practice. In Renaissance artists' studios, master artists gave their own drawing to their young apprentices or pupils for them to copy. The study drawings were evaluated by how closely the apprentice's drawing matched that of the master. In a study drawing there is no attempt to hide that a work is copied. Instead, the artist should provide an attribution, or credit to the artist and work under study. The classes did a great job!!!!
