Bishop Brady yearbook editors and staff are 2017 recipients of the Josten's National Yearbook of Excellence award. It was a wonderful team effort for editors Katie McMurphy, Jordan Bergeron, and Sarah Haynes with first-year advisor, Rose Marie Marinace.
Bishop Brady is one of only two schools in the state to meet the six standards:
- Cover Art
- Advertising Program
- Distribution Event
- Submission Deadlines are met
- 50% of the student body appears 3 times or more
- More than 70% of the student body purchased a book
The group easily made the first three criteria, but worked feverishly to produce a beautiful yearbook, on time, that represented the core of the student body and was a desired product by the community because their year was recorded accurately. In fact, not only did the staff surpass the 50% mark for student representation, but they achieved 98% representation of the student body, and made 104% of their target sales.
